Zanark, as I said origanaly..throw some LS cams in there and it will give you an extra kick...then you can go integralovers route and add a few more things for a decent non-vtec na motor, or you can throw it on 8psi of boost. That will be fine in the motor and get you to your 220hp goal fine.
As I said, throw some LS cams into the B20, and boost it to a low psi like 8psi (make sure to have it tuned right), it'll put you reliably right around your goal. Removing the CRV cams and installing LS cams are one of the keys to getting more power out of a B20. The crv is tuned like and SUV, and it shows in the motors power curve and performance with the stock B20 cams. Throw in the LS cams, tuned more for mild performance by comparison, and it will give you an extra kick and more power. Plus they'll respond much better on boost too. The B20 can't handle as much boost as the B18B1 by any means, but with the LS cams installed running 8psi, it'll be enough to make you happy bsed on your stated goals. |

oh and while ur installing the ls cams make sure u get the ls intake manifold. i heard its way better than the crv one. the runners are too long on the crv. plus ls parts are cheap.
if you do go the forced air route make sure the fuel system is the first thing you upgrade. if you force air into combustion chamber u lean ur motor out. u get great hp readings but then the internals will melt. get like h22 injectors and a b&m fuel pressure regulator. stock injectors rate like 240cc's and the h22 is like 345cc. the new ones i believe are like 435. i can pick some up for like 100 bucks

little update bought the car because the dumb fucks didnt even put a B20 in it, it was just a normal B18B1. lol problem is after I drove it for awhile I noticed how much it fucking jumped over bumps, the car has been lowered but I mean IT was crazy how much it was bumping up and down over bumps. So any way on the way home from the dealership the fucking back tire litterally blew up and I looekd in the back for a donut found one with half tread =\. No Tire iron. So had to call a tow truck, but wait shit gets shittier. so when I finally get home I go over to my boys house and lift the fucker up and take off the front tires. its got Aem springs on it cut so fucking short you can move them up and down on the Shock.so I knew i had to replace them. I thought the shocks might be adjustable because there was this plate inbetween it that lolks like it twists up or down I may just be an idiot and this is just what the stock ones look like but can someone answer that Q for me lol. Any ways basically tthe car is so fucking low the exhaust doesnt even have a full 1 inch clearance with this donut on.So tomorow after school Imma buy a used ls wheel and a set of new tires. and when I get my check next month switch out the springs. any suggestions on springs? since I believe the shocks are stock. and how can you tell if your shocks are blown or not? Thanks.

Oh also the fucking "leather" seats in the car are from a god damn prelude. And there not even put in right i sit at almost a damn slant. but ther ein perfect condition so Imma end up selling em.

Get H & R sport springs and Koni yellow shocks. That will solve your suspsenion issue and you won't regert it..or check out the Tein Basic damper, it's a true coilver, not a sleeve, similer to racing coilovers. It's a tuned damper, so the spring rates and shock dampening are tuned for each other...this means better handling, not bouncy, and a suspenion where your shocks won't blow all the time.
On a second note...I am sorry to here what they did. That car is downright dangerous to drive with cut springs, but espcially springs cut that low. Take care and don't get yourself killed. I am not superised they had a messed up suspenion and tires. They lied about so much else, I warned you that there would be many unforseen problems with ANY car you bought from them, problems you wouldn't discover until after the fact. That's why I said screw them, get your money back, and buy a beater for now. That suspenion won't be cheap to fix, but do it right. PM jackasssi...he knows his suspension stuff, he can help you figure things out. |

aight thanks man I trully appreciate it. and yeah I got screwed everything looked good on paper. I just looked at the engine and tranny and nothing else =\. Ah well itleast those will last me awhile I mean if i fix the suspension and replace the wheels and tires it should be pretty sweet. But that combo sounds pretty good Ill look into that thanks.

Man, you really trust this car? A new tranny, cut springs, seats installed incorrectly, it sounds to me like it was probably beat to fk. And are you sure the tranny is new, and not some POS from a junkyard? I'd ask for papers to prove the tranny is new, or at least rebuilt.Could have 200,000 miles on it for all you know. It sucks being in situtions when you gotta say FK IT. Been there, still there. But like someone else had posted, I woulda bought a beater for now. At least ya don't have to buy parts with payment $. Gd LK man, hope everything works out fine wit the car.
