If replace one of the headlights with a big air intake pipe...

The faster you drive, the more air get compressed, cheap way to supercharge, isn't it?

Re: If replace one of the headlights with a big air intake pipe...

It's not really a way to "compress" air, it's more of a way of "forcing" air. Compression is from a supercharger/turbo that pressurizes air through metal tubes and without all the pressure, it's not compressed, so therefore it's not supercharged...

BTW: Supercharging refers to a belt-driven intake system, rather than a turbocharger which refers to a means of compressing exhaust gas and reusing it as intake.

if you replace one of your headlights with an intake, you get cited for only having one headlight...

Re: If replace one of the headlights with a big air intake pipe...

If you're going to make a Ram-Air, then it would look much better if you just cut out a hole in the hood and placed a scoop over it, and ran a duct down from there to the intake. Rather than it looking completely welfare with a missing headlamp and a massive hose hanging out. Anyways, it's a retarded idea, so I'm going to have to say that I agree with r8erz4life and Jet-Lee on this one...

Re: If replace one of the headlights with a big air intake pipe...

Even an offset scoop, smaller in size, wouldn't look too terribly bad, especially if it was fully functional....actually thought of doing it myself.

I think that a scoop would actually look good on an Escort...
