Angry NEED HELP! Tuner Lug Nut Stripped - FIXED

One of my lug nuts stripped out where you insert the lug wrench adapter. How can I get this off?

i work at a a discount tire and any time something like this happens we have to "burn" them off. not literally burn them, we use a tool that we jam onto the lug nut to where it won't come off by hand and then take it off from there never had to deal with the type off lug you're talking about though. I'm assuming yours is the one where you key fits into your lugnut. my best advise is to just take it to a shop.

Re: NEED HELP! Tuner Lug Nut Stripped

We were able to hammer a 1/2 inch ratchet drive extension into the end of the lug. Use a breaker bar to loosen the nut. No damage to the wheel.

Word to the wise: DO NOT use an impact wrench on this type of lug setup.
