Question Do challange Stradales come with a clutch?

I was just wondering if Challange Stradales come with a clutch, or only have brake and gas. I know they got the F1 style shifter. If they dont, i would like it better if they did have a clutch.

Re: Do challange Stradales come with a clutch?

The car itself does have a clutch only it's not manually controlled by the driver. The clutch on the Challenge Stradale is automatically controlled by the onboard computer when the driver pulls on one of the F1 style paddles behind the steering wheel. This eliminates the need for a clutch pedal.

So, to answer your question, the car does have a clutch but does not have a clutch pedal.

if i'm not mistaken, every single car, standard, automatic, tiptronic, paddle shifting, etc., has a clutch, its whether or not there is a pedal for it, and it needs to be operated manually.

Yea, thats what I thought stealthtt. It would be funner to drive (for me) if it had a usable cutch pedal. At least the Enzo has one, even though I know I wont be diven that anytime soon.

The Enzo doesn't have a clutch pedal. Can you explain how having one would make the car more fun? If you said you'd rather have a full manual gearbox instead of paddles then I'd understand, but you want the paddles and a clutch pedal?

Yea I would think it would be more fun. Thats just me though (not everyone is the same....please understand that). Oh and I never seen an Enzo in person, but I've seen pics of them where they do have one. Yea, I'm VERY SURE Enzos have one.

Here's a pic from Fast-autos.net. Its a Ferrari Enzo's interier and this looks a lot like a clutch.

Re: Do challange Stradales come with a clutch?

um, i don't know how many manual car's you've actually driven
but, assuming you haven't mistaken the reflection to be another pedal (and hence, the brake pedal is your clutch pedal..), there is nothing in that picture that resembles a clutch pedal.

what i do see, is a foot rest.

either this kid knows nothing or i smells me a troll....

Re: Do challange Stradales come with a clutch?

Trust us lilslim, the Enzo DOES NOT have clutch pedal. What you are seeing is the reflection of the gas pedal. This gives the Enzo the appearance of having a 3rd pedal even though it only has two.

It is an understandable mistake, and I hope that we cleared it up for you.

I guess so. DAMN IT, I wish it did. I was so sure it did, but i guess not. But in those pics it really did look like it had one.
