stock bose HU
Does anyone know why the stock bose unit (type S) needs to be turned up like all the way, not very loud at all for a 6 disk bose system

??? What do you mean by needs to be turned up all the way? It gets very loud even half way up. It's not supposed to be a system that you can bounce a quarter off the roof of the guy next to you. For that you need to replace the whole system. Just note that car makers don't make systems that make you deaf.
