of pillowballs and EDFCs

I am buying a set of damping coilovers and the Tein SS model looks to be really great and well priced. I was wondering though, if the optional equipment is worth the extra money? The pillowball mounts are not yet available for the SS on my car (95 civic) but are with the FLEX system. Also, the EDFC looks like it would be a really neat toy, but it also looks like a recipe for disaster and frustration. I was wondering if it was worth the extra 300-400 dollars? And since the SS with pillowball mounts is the same price as the FLEX, why should I get the SS (even though I cant get pillowball mounts yet)?

The basic questions here are:
are the pillowball mounts worth it? and
Is the EDFC worth it?

Thanks for the info!

Pillowball YES, because it takes the strain off your stock upper shock bushing, and better centers it to the strut tower. I don't remember exactly what all it's good for, but I know it's better to have than to not.

The EDFC works good from what I hear, it just all depends on how lazy you are to adjust the dampening yourself. Great for on-the-fly adjustments though.
