Busted Voluem controll
The volume dial is busted, not jsut the plastic thing which is loose but when I take it off and jsut use the metal part the volume is either unresponsive or it jumps around randomly (which can make it very very loud at random times). I wish I could listen to my sterio withought toying with the volume for 30 seconds to get it close to as loud as I want it. Does anyone know how to take apart the sterio thingy (not the speakers) so I can check it out because I bet it's just dirty or loose. any links to a site with picks would be a god send. Thanks in advance.

Re: Busted Voluem controll
Sorry.... This is kinda off subject but umm....did you guys ever notice that on the steering wheel, there's a mute button but if you push it, the volume just goes lower and it doesn't really mute out the music? LOL Thought that was a bit weird!?! :-P

Re: Busted Voluem controll
Hehe My badd.
On some stereo systems, they call it something else....something that starts with an A I think. And like it kinda just lowers the volume significantly like our "mute" buttons.Okay, enough about that...back to Thourun's question. Can anyone help the guy out? :o/ Last edited by sLADe781; 06-26-2004 at 10:53 PM. |
