1999 Ford Ranger Clock/Radio Problem

Hey anyone! I recently have encountered the problem of my clock and radio staying on in my truck after the engine has been shut off and the doors open and closed. Has anyone else experienced this - if yes, how was the problem remedied? Thank you in advance for your help.
