Freedom or Folly?
Truth is an end, not a means, and every community would be established with good as the end result. The concepts of truth, morality, and humanity were important before, and just as important in today’s society, although they occupy less and less of society’s thoughts.
???Concern with morality, truth, and humanity ???  Has today’s society lost that understanding??

american society hasnt lost these values, they;ve just changed them
morality: in as far as it concerns ME truth: in as far as i can USE it humanity: if, by humanity, you mean ME

i tend to think that some value has been lost but i also agree that times change and so does [insert whatever you prefer] ie-values, morals, life, love, etc.
i think ppl have become distant to their values and morals. in todays society, it's not looked as down upon to go against one of these things as it was 40-??? how many ever years ago.

Yes, the world has lost these things. Not just the U.S, which has lost this a lot in the last few decades, but every other country as well. But these are all these that are leading up to doomsday.
