How do carbon fiber hoods weigh less MORE than the stock hoods, I thought that was impossible because isn't REAL carbon fiber lighter than aluminum and fiber glass?

i dont know the reason why a carbon fiber hood weighs more than a stock 300zx hood, but i have heard from many a 300zx experts that it does.

hey my spare tire is different,.,, its an oddball,, but a cool deesign idea,, but it is mounted to the side,, but it would easity sag,, but you could easily make a small wooden piece to support it if you did want to remove you spare

maybe the stock hood is fibreglass? just a thought? i have no idea i'm just tossing random ideas
