outside temp indicator

today the air conditioner shut off and the outside air temp indicator showed 5 degrees when it was about 25??
then the outside temp showed 12 degrees and the air came back on?
where is this sensor located and can i fix it myself or is it a dealer thing?

Re: outside temp indicator

You can fix it yourself the sensor is on the front of the rad support area.
