Post car for under 20 grand

i'm working on selling my mitsubishi eclipse right now and i don't know what to buy. I do know that i don't want to spend 20 thousand dollars on a car if i don't have to. I mostly like foreign cars/ sport compacts/ sports cars. I was considering a honda s2000 but if there is anything else out there better for the money let me know. thanks a lot

Re: car for under 20 grand

yes guys, here i go again. i would look at getting a nissan 300zx tt. and with 20k, you could get one in pretty damm good condition. they have a timeless design and plus, they have the speed to go with it.

Re: car for under 20 grand

The 300ZX TT is an excellent car, but if you're willing to shell out a few thousand more, you can get the Toyota Supra TT, which is faster and slightly more practical.

Re: car for under 20 grand

both of those cars would be very difficult to find with low mileage considering they are fairly old cars. Why would i spend 25 grand on a supra with 80 thousand miles when i could get a nissan 350z or honda s2000 which are just as fast and offer more advanced design and lower miles.

Re: car for under 20 grand

The s2000 is nice but dont fool yourself and think it's just as fast as a TT supra. and its gonna be hard to find a 350Z for under 20K...most 2003 cost around 25G. I would go with the supra but if youre afraid of the miles, Id consider a new Sentra SE-R Spec V. You get a strong car and then you will still have about 3K to work with. However it doesnt exactly fit the sports car mold but its just something you might want to consider. Maybe a newer Mustang but again not exactly the sports car mold. A 2002 camaro Z28, we all know what camaros can do.

Re: car for under 20 grand

If I had $20,000 to spend on a fairly new Japanese import, I'd get a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX for sure. It's as fast as the 350Z and S2000, and more functional because it's got four doors and all-wheel-drive.
