98 yukon 4wd lights wont work
I just bought a 98 yukon with 90000 miles on it. I noticed that the push button lights on the 2wd and the 4wd buttons wont stay lit. I know its in 4wd when I push the button because when I turn the wheel and drive it it will jump, and then I will push the button to 2wd drive and its back in 2wd. The problem is that the lights wont stay lit when one of the buttons is pushed. Is it the switches or maybe a bad connections. thanks

I had this exact problem when I purchased mine. I took the button control board out, and checked solder joints. Where the main connector attaches to the board, the joint was intermittent, I retouched with the gun, and all is now well.
