I Found out what my noise was

Well the other day I posted that I did not know what a bad water pump sounded like. I knew in my mind it was that and should have just replaced it . Well lastnight the noise drove me nuts . I look under hoo and the pully on the pump was just a wiggling away and there is alittle water behind it not on the ground to think I drove to Washington and back with that noise and only used alittle over half a tank of gas not bad. Well off to water pump repair I go. I hope this solves ot all. Thanks

I too have found my noise. It was the Harmonic balancer. The rubber that is bonded to the pulley let go and it let the Balancer and pulley make this knocking or chattering noise. Why is it, that a noise is the hardest thing to track down?
