I was travelling back from a concert about a month ago when my wipers on the car went. This turned out to be a loose arm but as soon as I thightened it,my car wouldnt start.First the fuel pump was bad, replaced it.Then the starter was shot, replaced it.I've since purchased new spark plugs & a new vacumm canister yet the car only starts for about 10 seconds and then dies. When you pour the gas directly into the carb it starts up but backfires.Any idea why my car still wont turn over?

Re: 93 Caprice Wagon wont turn over!
There is a ground for the fuel pump relay. Either that ground is loose or the relay itself is bad. I had similar issuse with my 89 for awhile. Would start and idle. But when I tried to rev the car up it would die.
