Check engine light
Question.... Our 99 Montana is a great outfit but when driving long distances the chack engine light come on. Usually at around 150 miles we'll stop for a break and turn the van off , when restarted the light comes on and stays on for upto 2 days. Any ideas?

Do you overfill your gas tank on long trips? Had this with my Ford and as soon as the evap can gets wet, the check engine light would come on. Lasted about 2 days as well. I stopped stuffing the tank and it never reccured. Just a guess, hope it helps.

Re: Check engine light
take it to your local autozone and have then scan the computer, They do it for free plus look up the code to pinpoint the issue. I had several issues with the light. Found out the gas cap wsnt on tight. screwed it tighter and the light went off. Not sure if the same case for you.
