hey guys, new nx owner

Well as the name implies, I'm a new nx1600 owner, I live in Barrie, Ontario, Canada...I'm gonna start being able to afford some parts for my car so I'll be around...just a question, what engines can i swap into a auto nx 1600?, without having to convert to manual(i would, jsut can't afford it...but another q, what would it cost..canadian..?) and what would i need to install it...whats a sr20 cost?

I LIVE IN JAMAICA WHERE I HAVE SWAPPED OUT MY 1500 NX COUPE ENGINE FOR A SR20 COST ABOUT $500 US AND YES MANUAL

You're going to need a new transmission to do an engine swap anyway. Just find an SR20DE, SR20DET, or SR20VE with a manual transmission. Then get an ECU(if it didn't already come with one), an MAF, and a drive axle from any of these cars:

91-94 Sentra SE-R
91-93 NX2000
95-98 200sx SE-R
00-01 Sentra 2.0 SE

s'all gravy from there.

y not put a sopercharger on it and add 40 bhp in one hit? no standard kits available but you will need a mercedes kompressor charger, a wastegate set to 5psi boost, then some 200sx bits: the maf, injectors, remapped ecu. it will need a bracket made to put the supercharger on the engine, so it will engage the belt. plus a new belt.

40hp? Why not just get a turbo kit from Hotshot and add 90hp in one hit?
