Maybe I'm not looking hard enough

I've got a 1999 3100 Lumina, and guess what? No one can seem to get a PCV valve elbow or vacuum line for me. Not even Nash Chevrolet knows what the heck I'm talking about.

So I'm turning to the forum for any kind of advice. When even a dealer has no idea what I'm talking about, even when I point it out to them , there's a definite breaking down of the system.

Anybody know where I could pick one up? Or if you have a wrecked car even, I'm in need of one.

Yes, I also had trouble finding this part. I ended up just trashing the elbow and buying a foot of vacuum hose and connecting the pcv to that metal vacuum line. Works for me.

i had the same problem, but i found a way to solve it. i know it sounds bad but i have had no problems so far. when it comes down to the elbow i noticed it looked alot like the end of my plug wire that attaches to the coil. so after changing my plug wires one day i pulled off one of the ends and used it for my elbow. i have had no problems so far. when it comes to the vacum line, you might be s.o.l.

Re: Maybe I'm not looking hard enough

Problem solved, I went to a different dealer. But as a temporary fix I used a small diameter, long length of radiator hose that went from the valve to near where the line connects with the upper manifold/throttle body. All for a dollar seventy-five at advance auto :P
