EF9 SiR II is real.

EF9 SiR came with standard equip (PS/AC/PW/PM/sunroof)

SiR II had all that and a few other goodies - I think ABS was part of that package but havent been able to translate it all properly.

Plus there was the race-ready version that had the PS/power everything stripped out to lighten the weight and ran a factory LSD (also an option on the road version).

Quick note: Moppie's SiR and my SiR while almost identical, had a few differences - mostly in the style of centre console (mine was double DIN to his rounded lower console, I have climate control, he had straight A/C controls) - neither of us had the ABS or LSD. Nor did we have the supposed leather steering wheels - yet both are EF9s.

hmm thats wierd, mine came with a leather steering wheel, i think a lot of stuff was optional extras on the EF9's did u get rear speakers?????

dude the civic sir came with all of that, but still didnt have alloy wheels?!?!? i was shocked to see hubcaps in that link

i think you will find they are alloys, and they didnt ALL come with rear speakers either i dont think

They didnt come with rear speakers at all - or at least moppie and I never got them. It was an option only. Steels were standard with alloys optional - but most went aftermarket so steel was the cheap option. Moppie had the originals, I had aftermarket rims.

Clarification - moppie had the original genuine JDM EF alloy wheel options, I had white DPs on mine on import so the chances are it ran factory steels originally.

what do the steels look like ???? you got a pic???? i got some rear speaker pods in the post last week, just sorting some new speakers for it

ah ok - those ones in the ads are alloys - they are what moppie had on his (I want a set ). The honda history page shows the steelies that came with the SiR.

I never know about the "leather steering wheel - mine is exactly the same in every way - but not leather. Also, I got the different lower console to the one on page 5 but that was an option that went wit hthe climate control instead of the standard air-con.

ive seen alot of edm and jdm cars rocking steelies as their main rim choice, it was a costly option to get the alloys there for some reason, so most came with the steelies.

well the only cars that i ever see WITH alloys stock is the 1.6-16 civic and crx and the VT's the GL's and DX's NEVER come with any

nah im not only talking honda though, ive seen plenty of evo's, wrx's, etc with steelies.
