'Kick plate', as in this piece here?

If so, that's pretty cool. Is it damaged at all?

I've never seen a carver in person, but judging by a top gear review I saw of it (+ a feature in one of clarkson's other videos), it has got to be the strangest vehicle created since the messerschmitt kabinenrollers.

Yup that's the kickplate! Would have loved to have Dan's carbonFibre one thou! heh.

Its not -damaged- but the parts aren't brand new... you can see a little bit of wear to them. Just to share, when I first saw it in a picture, i thought the kickplate was a rather solid block of metal, however, when i got mine, i realised it was aluminium and only 2mm thick, then i remembered Gordon Murray's fetish about weight saving. Heh!

If anyone's interesested,I could email them a pic.

I thought that there was an F1 in Holland. Sure someone said there was one in a garage around Aerdenhout.

As an aside, there may be few F1 fans in Holland, but it's reckoned that the World's largest private Ferrari collection is held in Holland. Don't know who or where it is. However, I watched a documentary with a guy in France with a huge collection, and he referred to a guy in Holland that had an even bigger/more eclectic collection. Where are you based Maarten?

Re: What do you guys collect of McLaren stuff?

nijmegen, the centre east near the german border. there are quite a lot of collector's in holland yes.
the spyker owner, victor muller, has quite a lot. our ferrari importer frits kroymans has a gto and a lot of other cars. former spyker driver and le mans veteran hans hugenholtz has a ferrari 250 sefac swb among lots of others, but i don't know who is to have the largest ferrari collection in the world. probably bs though, i think it must be some lunatic japanese guy, but who knows.

and i was referring to mclaren enthousiast's, i know there are quite a lot of classics..

I've got numerous diecast models as well as actual magnesium wheels and parts off Gulf GTR cars.
Specifically 3 rear wheels 18x13 and 1 front. One of the wheels is actualy pictured in "F1 McLaren GTR" being brought into the pits on a flat tire.

Crew suit from the Davidoff GTC team.

Gear shaft and various gears, carbon fiber rotors, A-arms, and a wheel nut from the Gulf team car.

Press kits for Gulf livery release as well as 1997 BMW AC Schnitzer

Missed the chance to buy a carbon fiber GTR seat and a Gulf front nose clip.
