Troubles with interlock transaxle...?

Okay... I've been having trouble with my 2000 Saturn SL2 for awhile now. First of all, I can turn the car off while it is in drive. I have looked it up and there is a recall regarding the transaxle interlock system or whatever. More recently my ignition has been sticking when I try to pull my key out, I have had to turn my car on a few times in order for the ignition to release my key. Then about a week ago it just stopped starting altogether. It makes this clicking sound like crazy. Does anyone have an opinion as far as whether it is a starter problem or due to this transaxle interlock system?

Please help!
