Jspec sileighty banned?!?? WHAT THE HELL???

I saw his title and it said banned, WTF!!! I read his recent posts and none of em seemed like he had any beef with anyone. He is one of the last really informative and helpful people in the 240 forums, definetly a contributing member. Anyone know what happened?? If he is gone there's definetly no point in me and I'm sure others staying in these forums, as almost all the informative members have left.

If you read his recent posts, about 99% were all helpful ones... And he's really the only person willing to help others. Sure he did call one guy's a car's piece of shit, it may not have been warranted, but it isn't that big of a deal... He has helped so many with his vast knowledge of 240sx's, it's like saying if you are the biggest producer of the company but you may have one bad day and insult another employee, do you get fired? Banning him did much worse than any good, one of the smartest helpful persons (as well as nice, gave me a left foglight for FREE) in these forums is now gone.

man this really sux he is a really helpful guy. I cant believe that he got banned for that. But maybe there was something else he did that we dont know about. Theres nothing we can do about it but complain. Hopefully they'll let im back on after awhile.

he called my car a piece, and then when the moderator talked to him about it, he told insulted the mod, and told him to drive off of a cliff, so hes on ban for 20 days unless he keeps up.

Yeah how bout you guys let Brian moderate the 240sx forums without any help. Everyone seems to agree he's doing a good job. Things were fine without the other moderators butting in here.

It is your choice to use these forums or not. If you're unhappy with how they're run, you can approach Brian, Igor, or any other moderator and express your concerns, or you can just leave. However, if you do choose to stay, we expect you to be able to comply with a few simple rules. There are very few places on the internet that don't ask the same. And, since this 240SX forum is a subforum of all of AF, you are expected to not only follow any forum-specific rules Brian sets out in here, but also the site-wide guidelines that apply to the other thousand forums, too.

Just use the forum to talk about the cars, and there won't be any drama. I don't get why every little hiccup in here turns into a giant soap opera.

It's not so much what he said in that thread as it was the way he responded to my asking him to not do what he did in that thread again. He'll be back in 3 weeks. Wait it out.
