Xenon vs. LED

i'm gonna get new dome/map lights for my accord and i saw two new types of lights for dome. One being Xenon which i already thought was pretty bright seeing them on headlights but now they have LED ones for dome. Some with 2,4, and even 9 LED lights in one bulb. i never compared them side by side and was wondering which was brighter cause i want the brightest i can get. the only downside to xenon is that they get hot faster. so please let me know. thanks

Unless you are planning on living in your car, or growing certain green leafy plants, it doesn't matter how bright your dome light is, or whether it's an LED or 'xenon'. Just pick a color you like and be done with it.

You didn't say that before. In any case, i'd opt for the LED bulbs, as they are generally brighter, and they definitely last longer than regular bulbs.

Re: Xenon vs. LED

LED's are the way to go. Don't create as much heat (not that it matters for a dome light), and they usually live at least 10k hours. My 2 pennies.
