rod bearings
so ive been hearing that it is a neccesary thing to buy rod bearings for an imported BB because theres no telling how long its been sitting, and it could mess up your engine if you dont replace them. But im not sure if the ones in my nx will work in the BB. Any imformation on this is apreciated, and if you know of any sites that sell them please let me know, thnx

Re: rod bearings
Never mind i already did it. and they match perfectly. Just a tip thought youll have to remove then entire bottom end, but you have to remove the oil pan before you do this because there are four bolts inside that hold the bottom end on besides the ones out side. Warning though with the swap, the BB has a different oil pan so youll have to make your own gasket, i used some high temp gasket maker, its like a make your own gasket ou of a paste type deal. Just a warning though, dont fuck the bottom end up, if you get any grit between the bearing and the crank itll be a big mistake. My bearings did have wear patterns but nothing too bad, i have read an article that said it was best just to do it. You have to use a substence called clevite, it helps lube and bond the bearing into place. Man this engine looks bad ass.
