1987 Civic Sedan

Hi I am woundering if some one could tell me what motor I can put in my 1987 Honda Civic 4dr Sedan. I know this kind of ? has been asked but it has never been a 4dr sedan. I have the 1.5 in it now and it runs and drives fine but i want more power. It is carb. and the carb is crap. It will not idel and cuts out. So i want to put FI in it but how hard is that going to be. So what i want to do is put a FI motor in it that will bolt right up to my tranny and my motor mounts.
Thanks Alan

Re: 1987 Civic Sedan

check out this thread, that guy just put a weber on his sedan, he keeps up with this forum occasionally as well. the D16A1 is the best bang for your buck in this generation of honda, if you go with anything newer it will require custom mounts.
