Engine Fan/Temp question...
Alright, for the past week and a half my engine fan has been going off after I shut the car down, yeah I know it's normal and whatever, but it's going on EVERYTIME now (even after driving only 10 min).
I've also noticed that my coolant level dropping dramatically, I add more coolant and it just drops again within 2-3 weeks time. I know that's not normal right? Isn't the coolant level suppose to be able to hold for quite some time?...there's no leaks around any of the hoses and the radiator itself seems fine, any ideas on what's going on with the coolant level? As for the fan going off, coudl it be from a jacked up thermo? Any help would be appreciated....late |

Sounds like you have a blown headgasket. You may even notice white smoke from the tailpipe if enough is leaking through. I'm sure your engine is getting too hot with the lack of coolant so get this checked out.
