transmission problem 91 accord lx
when i turn my key to the on position my gear shift light thats is on the instrument panel lights up green around the d4 gear even when im in park. but when i unplug my positive battery terminal for about 5 minutes i guess it resets something and its fine. i usually have to disconnect it once or twice a day.

You could invest in a Haines manual for your car and follow the procedure for shift linkage adjustment. This may work, and is only about $11 for the book.
