2001 impala ignition problems
After turning off the car and removing the key, the steering coulm does not lock, thus I am unable to restart the car. Then when I try to restarted the car the key will not turn in the ignition, and the gear shift does not move. Any idea's would be helpful.

Go to "Ignition Complaints to CHEVY to get recalls" on this forum from several days back and see if there is some helpful info there.
