Header wrap is a good thing. The idea behind header wrap is to keep under hood temperature down and keep the exhaust temperatures high which help exhaust velocity and performance overall.

Re: header wrap

yea its good. it keeps the engine temp down b/c the exhaust heat doesnt spread into the engine and the cooler air from the engine doesnt go into the exhaust so it works for both of them. gives u better air flow.

The benefits are even greater on a turbocharged vehicle as it helps maintain maximum exhaust energy to the turbine.
