Hi I have some questions about a 93 2 door tahoe that i'm considering purchasing. The exterior is in great condition and the interior is good for it being 11 years old....I'm just not sure about the vehicle itself...seeing that it does have 150,000 miles. The price the dealer is asking is $4900..I believe that to be pretty good seeing that these are pretty hard to find. Am I right? I plan to take the vehicle to get checked if I get more serious about buying it but I need some help first. Does anyone know the somewhat range of gas mileage for this vehicle if its just the stock model? And what are some options to better the gas mileage for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

93 Tahoe
I just recently purchased a 96 Tahoe for 7200 with 118k on it. I get about 12mpg city and 17-18mpg City. If the body is in good shape and the engine runs good then you should have no problems with it. Yes they are hard to come by. I recommend that you purchase a car fax report on your proposed vehicle. Also get all the options that you see it has and go to kelly blue book web site and see what it retails for to see what kind of deal you actually are getting. JMO.

Re: 93 2door tahoe
Carfax. KBB. NADA. Ask dealer for information about the previous owner. Definitely take it to a mechanic to have things checked out. Ask about transmission condition & intake manifold gasket(s). I get 14/17.5 in my '96 4x4 4 door.

The dealer I purchased mine from changed the intake gasket due to some seepage. car fax will give you details on owners and if any accidents were reported against the vehicle.
