Unhappy confused

ok, I have a 99 GSR. I have ice-man cold air intake, DC sports ceramic four-two-one header, 2.25 inch exausht, jacobs ignition full kit, venom injectors 10%over stock, venom fuel rail, and venom fuel pump, I have a fuel regulator but not sure how to work it, its still in the house. Best time on sloppy track 15.134 @94.3mph With 16" A520 on. Now what pisses me off is that a 99 Prelude Vtec, with short ram intake and thats it, is still half a car behind me. I know its not my driving. I know what Im doing. I used to beet this same guy consistantly by two or more lengths with just a cold air and header. Now after all these other applications he is even closer than before. My only guess is that im losing traction more easily?? Anyone have a clue as to what I should invest in next or what I may be able to do with what I have, like a few tricks of the trade???? Any assistance is valued. another thing im right on the 2001 mustang GT's a$$ and thats my goal for now. so help please.

Get a Apexi VAFC Vtec controller. That will help you out big time. You prolly just need to adjust your engine settings. I have one on my Teg, and it does wonders, I lower the VTEC point to 4500 and it picks up much faster. And you can adjust the fuel ratios. Its only about $300 and well worth it. And it looks cool. Also another thing you might want is a lightened flywheel, get you fast pickup. I have an LS with a GSR engine in it and I suck on the low end cuz i have an LS tranny so the VTEC controller really helps, my 1/4mile time was 15.5 with 17" rims on, if i had stock i would have done much better. \
Work on your reaction times, the race is won and lost at the beginning. If you get a good react time you will have better finish. Try to keep your reaction times around 6 or 8.

Maybe your tires don't have anymore tread and loose traction? You should check your tires. Also, maybe you adjusted all the fuel stuff wrong and actually lost horsepower? Maybe you should go dyno tune your car and while you at that, get a VTEC controller before you go. And also, are you sure you are on the 2001 Mustang GT's ass? Cuz Those GT's have 260 horsepower and 302 torque and run LOW 14s stock.

Yeah first you have the lift, then you have when the secondary chamber opens up. I changed that VTEC point from 5800 stock to 4500 VAFC
