Cool New girl on the block

Hi all!!!

I was looking for a way to program a keyless remote recently and found this site, what fun! I do alot of research on cars as I like to own so many of them! In the past 5 years alone I've owned an Expedition, Durango, Cadillac Catera, F250 diesel, Bronco, F150, and a Mercury Mystique. Currently I've got a Windstar SEL and lovin it!! My husband and I are what I consider car enthusiasts, we test drive new models on date night (lame, I know!!!). And when the car shows come to town... WATCH OUT!!! haha I'm looking forward to getting all my questions answered in one spot!

Re: New girl on the block

Were you able to go to the Auto Show In Motion? I went with some friends, spent an afternoon in Tampa and had a great time driving all the courses. I stumbled upon this site myself and just recently membered up. I am into anything that burns gas, bummed now with the price of crude, so it goes. I now own 3 Harleys, '03 Corvette, '98 BMW Z3, '88 4x4 Blazer, '78 K5 Blazer 4x4, '99 XL1200 Jetski, Pontoon Boat with 70HP Evinrude, 4hp Lawnboy, Stihl Chain saw, Ryobi weed whacker. More gas than plasma in these veins! It is an illness that only the few, the proud, the insane will appreciate!

Re: New girl on the block

Absolutely not! I only operate one at a time. Variety is the spice of life. I wrench them all myself. Right now I'm breaking in a new engine I put in the jetski, BTW it does have a catalytic converter. Last summer I took a ride out to the Grand Canyon on the '01 Harley. It gets around 48 mpg, tough beating that with a hybrid. The Corvette gets a solid 27 mpg in 6th which beats the 24 mpg in the V6 Blazer (so much for the SUV Gas guzzling myth). Some men collect women, I prefer that which provides consistent enjoyment. Life is short, do for yourself what makes it worth living! I am too old to make excuses for what I love. Like Harley riders say, "If I have to explain it, you wouldn't understand".
