All-Trac Performance Parts...

looking for a couple things on this... does anyone make a forced induction kit for this car? Also some stiffer springs would be nice. Higher performance rear brakes? Anyone other than jet do chip mods? How is jet with their mods, ive only dealt with Jim Wolfe b4? And anyone do anything exhaust/intake wise for this or am i going to have to make it myself? Also anyone produce performance cams for this car? I like the 4wd and i dont think anyone would see this car coming with any form or performance. Ive been looking on the internet for a while and found some stuff but I just wanted to see if people who actualy new the cars could help me out with some ideas. BTW, its my friends car which is why i dont know it that well(I know mine inside out) and the car is a 1991

Forced induction on a 3SFE is a custom job. Some have done it. Two people who you might want to talk to is 88LE, who designed the setup; and White90DX, who owns the car with that setup.

Only other option for forced induction is to swap for a 3SGTE.

Performance springs by Intrax made for the Gen2 4cyl model (87-91) do not fit the All-Trac. The springs are different, from what I understand.

You will have to search the forum for this, but there's a DIY of upgrading to Celica brakes for the Gen2.

Cams for the Celica 3SFE can be used with the Camry.

Chip Mods? No..... None of them work, especially JET.

Plainly put, JET is a factory chip with their own label on it.
There's no evidence of any performance gains to prove otherwise.

Good luck with the project.

You must be referring to these:

3SFE Cams

Based on the information stated, I don't see any different in specs between the cams for the Camry/Celica and those for the Rav4. the lifter for the Rav4 has a different model number, so you might have to call them directly and get information.

Performance cams give the lift to the valves for the incoming air (intake)and exhaust gases (exhaust) that flow through the head. It's important to have the cams that provides proper lift and duration based on the modifications of your headwork. When upgrading to performance cams, it's also important to have the right valves and springs as well.

Re: All-Trac Performance Parts...

Anyone on this board kicking out their own custom ECU's? If not would there be a market for one? How much would u be willing to pay? I figure if im only doing one for my friend kinda a waste of time and effort but if a bunch of people were interested it might be worth it
