454 More HP and Fuel Milage
I have a Chevy P/U with a 454. It has headers, electronic ignition, aprox. 9 to 1 comp. First question I want more hp and better fuel milage. I will be using for towing. Been told that this is possible. Would it be better with TBI or larger carb. jetted back. Second question- I have some backfiring up deceleration. Is this fuel or ignition. Thanks.
