Zed's getting back up there.

I've been seeing a lot of 300's on TV, and movies lately. Anyone else noticed this?

- Kill Bill Volume I and II : Sophie had a nice little Z32 Twin Turbo with Speedline wheels. Darkblue, nice looking. Too bad she wont be able to drive it anymore (those who didnt see the movie, she got her arm chopped off)

- Sports Car Revolution, on SPEED : Kazzer drove a 1992 Twin Turbo with nice wheels, and a nitrous system (only to get the turbo's spooling, after 3,000RPM it cut off)

- In the FX Movie "North Hollywood Shoot-out" there was a highly modified Bayside Blue ZedX sitting in traffic ( the scene where the swat team had to cut around on the grass, because the road was like a parking lot )

- In the ending credits of The Fast And Furious, theres a chic booty dancing in the Fairlady 300ZX centerpeice reflection.

Anyone else noticed any on TV, or movies I may have missed?

Noticed the on ein Fast & Furious (stupid movie by the way, but lots of cool looking cars). But haven't noticed the others. Will be looking out for them. I have however noticed there are getting to be more 350Z' sout and about on the roads aroung the Ft. Worth area where I live. Every time I see one, I can't hep but smile!

I remember being them stock as well.

On a side note, that fairlady made Sophie 10x more attractive.

Re: Zed's getting back up there.

BTW: Ever see the Metropolitan Speedway series? It's a great series of movies made in Japan that feature Drift-King, Kei' Tscuchiya... basically all the movies were made in the late 80's and early 90's and are about the underground 'touge' and 'highway' racing scene! Way better than F&F I would have to say! Anyway... Part 2 has TT Fairlady Z vs. an old school Skyline RS and R32 GTR. The videos for the first time are avaible in the US! Worth checking out...

Re: Zed's getting back up there.

LOL.........ALL of them got slaughtered....and that chick is hot the whooooooole time....even though I can't for the life of me think of her name right now.....I'll remember in a few.....but yea.....did a search for those movies on ebay and didn't find any. I'd love to see them. I love that shit. Saw some Tekademics movie thing once that was pretty cool (surprisingly enough), but it was not so surprisingly void of any Zs.

Re: Zed's getting back up there.

I think he was talking about Sophie Fatale (girl that drives the Z), in which case, her real name is Julie Dreyfus.

Re: Zed's getting back up there.

No.....actually I was talking about the main character's real name, Uma Thurman. Just had a major brain fart and couldn't think of her name. Tis all good.
