Oil shooting out of exhaust of 99sc2

I posted a couple of days ago hoping to receive a response, bu to no avail. Please someone that has any knowledge about these cars give me at least an opinion or educated guess.

First ses light came on and running real rough. Next blue smoke and oil shooting out of the exhaust system. Car shakes and stalls doen't keep an idle or anything.

What gives with this car? i have had only six months and have had the oil changed on schedule, actually a little better because I have only put5100 miles on it . By the way it has 85115 now and 79950 at purchase.

Please someone help. My boyfriend is useless when it comes to cars. I am willing to learn how to do a number of things with this car. I love the car just not the problems right now.

off the top of my head without knowing any codes, check the pcv on top of the valve cover, if it gets gummed up, it can pull oil into the combustion chamber and burn it with the fuel. Does the car tend to use alot of oil? Saturn states that if you have to add 1 quart every 3 months or 3000 miles, that is acceptable. Also on the DOHC engines, the valve cover gasket will leak and fill up the plug holes, sometimes causing a missfire.
