noise in rear of car
96 metro 1.0 5 speed-- some constant noise such as brakes grinding in the rear -- took them apart brakes in great shape so are the drums -- bearings are well greased-any ideas??

Just because they're well greased, doesn't mean they're not bad. Take the hub off, and make sure there is no play at all in the bearing. Even the slightest bit of play in a wheel bearing can, and will become dangerous. They are what holds your wheel on. Also, jack the rear of the car up, and wiggle the rear wheels. If the bearing is bad, the wheels will wiggle around.

bearings are still in tact-- no prob there-- it seems as if the shoes are rubbing against the drums-- just on the left side though-- new drums-- 62.95 each @ auto zone-- SPECIAL ORDER-ARRRGH!!!! ne help on locating these cheaper would be greatly appreciated!!! NEED A RADIATOR ALSO!!!!!!

Oh, ouch. Those bad boys are expensive! The adjuster in the drum was probably froze up. When you put it back together, make sure the adjuster is ok.
