New struts and ride got higher???

hey whats up. i just installed a set of bilstein HD shocks on my car with neuspeed race springs. Before, i had the springs on the stock struts and the ride was pretty low. now that i have the new struts in, the ride hight got a little higher, maybe by 1/2 inch higher. Is this normal???? and will the car get lower with time. im asking this because when i 1st installed these springs on the stock struts the ride height got a little bit more lower after about a week or two.

by the way the ride is much much better now. the ride was harsh with the stock struts and these race springs. =)

Re: New struts and ride got higher???

The spring perches aren't exactly in the same location. The reason it went down after a few weeks before was the settling of new springs. They will settle more on stock compared to stiffer aftermarket struts. The ride height will remain.
