Re: vertical door kits on e-bay for our cars

From what is says it's all ready to go. I just wonder whether the mounting points are strong enough to take the weight of the doors over a sustained period of time. It's a different force compared to the standard opening.

Looks ugly anyway and seems to limit access.

BTW - could you make your sig pic a little bigger? It's only taking up a 1/4 of my monitor which is in 1280x1024 resolution.

Here's a hint: When your sig pic is 10x the size of your post, some modification may be necessary. We don't need to see your driveway or the garage/roof - cropping it might be nice, cropping it AND resizing it would be better.

Cheers

Re: vertical door kits on e-bay for our cars

Nah I like it big, J/k true I have a 21" monitor it only takes up about 4" so I did not relize it was so big for you guys with 15" monitors I'll fix it. But anyway Im thinking on that kit there it would have have some sort of reinforcing of the door jams for the vertical weight that is being applied to it. I thought it would be different but $1000.00 is a little high. And yes it seems it would be a little hard to get out of the car.
