trailer harness connector 2000 suburban

trying to find location of prewired connector for brake controller in my 2000 suburban 4wd 1500lt with trailer pkg.
any help would be appreciated.....

Thanks For Your Reply, But What I Really Need To Know Is Where Gm Stashs The Connector... I.e. Under Left Dash, In Steering Column , Or Under Drivers Seat Etc.... Thanks

Prewired trailer brake controller connector

I saw your post because I was looking for the same information. You posted nearly a month ago so this info may be of no use.

I just discovered the following information on the etrailer.com web site and it works for my 1999 GMC suburban. The connector is located in a "blackbox" on the left kick panel.

The web site has good photo and text information.
