service indicator

my car was reading 6000 miles to next service inspection 2 If you press and hold the left hand button and then switch on your ignition it brings up more info about your car each press will give different reading when you get to reset press right hand button and it will reset service indicator to oil service 15000 miles great if you want to con youself !
this is normally done only by main dealer to prevent non franchise dealers changing service indicator on your car now needs resseting by main dealer on diagnostic machine at my next service moral of story don't press what you don't understand !!!
