Sound System

I was toying with the idea of putting together a decent but not mind blowing sound system into my 03 civic. Just curious as to what everyones past experiences have been with them and what size/brand subs and amps are good enough to deleiver a nice sound. I want to get the new pioneer DEH-p960mp deck, but not sure.

i have 2 12 inch ma audio subs also
all in all my car is loud and makes my head hurt at time, so its all good

Re: Sound System

Yeah i got about the same as this guy ^ but i have 2 sony explode 6.5's in the front (i dont know why i dont like explodes but they were free) then i have two 3 way 6x9's in the back, I have a "el kamelion" deck and a 600w Crunch amp powering two JL 12'' WO's. Decent system, makes my head hurt somtimes too, awesome for bumpin The Beatles (among other things)

I got one 500w RF 10" non-ported sub, and everyone always thinks it either a a bigger sub or more than one. Gives great thump. With a bridged 250w RF amp. I only use pioneer speakers to replave the stocks. two-ways in the front and three-way 6x9s in the back. No amp on those since i blew it. HU is a kenwood MPV-622 with with a 40g music keg.

I think it sounds pretty good, but I wanna get amps for the front and rear speakers and replace the tweets and amp them.
