I have tried everything short of taking it in for service. It is an 04 grand prix gtp with all the bells and whistles. The trip computer shows it as tuesday may 10th of 2004 today which as most of you know it is Monday may 10th of 2004. I have ran through the owners manual and we can not figure it out tried setting the year then setting it back didnt work. Any suggestions from fellow GP owners.

I heard about this, but can't remember where. The clock is like that because the computer geeks at GM forgot to program in the latest leap year. I'd check with your dealer, I think there's a recall.

Re: 2004 GP GTP Shows wrong day of week on trip computer but correct date
Why is it when you have a problem on a car its under a recall? I'm sorry the wrong date is not a saftey problem.
But the answer to your question the fix is go to your dealer they will need to order a radio for your car. The program for the DIC is in the radio.

Thank you for your help. There is a Bulletin on this problem and you are right they are just going to replace the radio and that will supposedly fix the problem
