I have a 2000 LS and almost went with a ls vtec. I hear they are great set ups, but not great for daily driving. If you plan to build a car to run up and down the track, go for it. If you plan to use for everday use (back and fourth to work) and a lil street action, I would just build up your motor as is. Turbo is great if you can afford it.
