Re: Prelude vs firebird
same hp, he's packing a lot more weight, and you have a manual. as long as you can drive, you will win. i'm asuming he has a firebird with the 3.4 v6. they are such hogs, and so slow. a v8 firebird is the only thing you have to worry about in that family.

totally correct, same with the v6 camaro/ v6 mustang.. gas hogs, slow as fuck, and you might as well have a corolla with an extra 2000lbs :P |

yeah but he also has a redline somewhere in the 6,000 rpm range if not like 5,800, my ldue pulls past 7,200 rpm, so hes got less gears, and less revelutions, unless you can't shift, you will win.

Re: Prelude vs firebird
but he goes though those rpms and gears the same speed as u
he's got more tq so the rpms rise slower but the speed rises the same rate vipers redline at abot 6k and it's in the 11 range a car does not have to have to operate at high engine speeds to go fast only cars with smaller engines

so when is this race going to be. I want to know who wins, cause a bad launch and it doesn't matter who has more power. |

Re: Prelude vs firebird
if you race from a dead stop he will win rear wheel vs front wheel but from a roll you should win if you dont slip up in shifting

Re: Prelude vs firebird
Well the race finally went down and i basically won every race. We went 3 times from dead stop. He got me off the line every time but as soon as i got through 2nd gear i would pass him. We went 5 times from a roll and i smoked him each time.
