Maybe it's doing out of spite. Ever think of that?
And, seriously, what does being mexican have anything to do with it? |

lol... mexicans....i actually forgot people stereotyped like that. seriously man, i know you were probably joking, but don't write stuff on open forums like that- people don't see your actual problem they just see mexican.
on the topic, i got the same kind of groan from the fender. I would check the bearings and cv. go somewhere that is a nationwide chain and that way you have a way to lodge a formal complaint if you think they gypped you. Might pay more- and a better chance of you not getting what you want, but if "mexicans" are a problem, you at least have peace of mind. |

So that nobody gets mugged, let's get back on topic. The road noise is buying the wrong tire for your car. The Maxima requires a minimum of a H-rated tire. That is what comes on the car. However, it you install a lower rated tire which may have a longer wear time, you get noise. A T-rated tire for example would create a lot of noise even though it is only one rating less than 'H'. What's the difference??
H-rated: 135mph top speed. It has a softer composite rubber that would enhance cornering, traction and reduced noise. T-rated: 118mph top speed. This is a Touring tire and is a hard rubber tire. Hard rubber slides, rides rougher and creates alot more noise. They are cheaper however and usually have 10,000 miles more wear. All the rattle you have may be a result of the extra vibration your car has from the wrong tires. I'm relatively sure something is loose, but that irritated by rough ride. Take that cheap stuff back to whomever you bought it from and get the ones the manual says to get. |
