Question keyless remote for 93 cutlass

I have a '93 Cutlass Cierra, and wondered whether it has the capability to use a keyless remote fob. Were those models set up for that, or can they be set up for that? Thanks for your comments/advice.

Re: keyless remote for 93 cutlass

it sure is, theres only two cutlass codes one with and one without and youre in luck... but warning my keyless sensor thats the part in the car, died on me so have that checked to see if it will last cuz its over 1,000 dollars to replace.

No, the car has to have the lock receiver installed in the factory. Only cars originally equirted with keyless entry have it. You could add it - a lot of work at the junk yard and at your house.

You can always go aftermarket and get a lot of features the factory system did offer.
