head swap???
Is it possable to swap a newer 96+ GT head on a 89 GT block?
I know the 96+ is 2.0, but both are single cam and EFI. Just wondering,

I really don't think the bolts or the mating surfaces would match...and I think the timing gear is a little bit bigger on the 2.0, but I guess you could always take the head off of your 89 and head to a junkyard somewhere and see if they have one of the 96 ones for you to look at and compare. You never know, they might just fit.
