Best handeling civic year/trim

Just wondering. because Ive been having a Haaaaard ass time finding a Civic hatch in stock good condition for a decent amount of money. Now can a normal Civic ex or dx handle as good as a hatch? Or would it make more sense to just get an integra if thats the case? Just want some opinions

I doubt that a sedan model could handle as well as a hatch or coupe without modifications, because it's more meant to haul people, but I may be wrong. I know that I used to have a 2000 civic dx, which handled like crap compared to my old 90 si or my 94 cx.

Its not much of a difference, dont worry about it. If you buy some cheap ass bars and a stiffer suspension the car will handle better than a hatch. Even with better/wider tires.

Your not comparing an s2000 to a civic. Its almost the same thing.

exactly, i had to drive an s2000 the other day at work for a PDI and they do handle really well. not that fast though.

yeah my bro has an 2001 s2000 its uber nice with the red seats and stuff.. its just, damn torque not enough.. i think the best handling civics are the current 2003 Civic Si, or the 2000 Civic Si.

IMO 89-91 Si have the best handling stock & upgraded. That's why they're still whooping ass on raod courses/autocross! 2000 Si would be a good choice, but I don't know about the '03 Honda Focus Si. That's one car I don't think I'll ever like.

Buy the cheapest & invest the rest in quality suspension parts!

I have my '00 Civic DX coupe set up to out handle almost any other car I've come across thus far. It's all on what you want out of it, and knowing exactlly what components to get, and how to set them up properly. A lot of people don't realize that just mere tire pressure adjustments can really change how a car handles.
