leather seats "flaking"

I just purchased an '01 Yukon 4x4. I'm really happy w/ it except for the fact that the front passenger seat's leather is "flaking" off. Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what I can do about it?

Hi Barman, Sounds to me like your leather seats were painted, or "re-dyed" as the used car guys say. Theres not much you can do about it, the surface wasnt properly prepped. Just my 2 cents, Mike
